Coordinator of Education Coordination forum & excom Member Mr. Naresh Prasad Shrestha attended "Academia-Industry Dialogue" which was held at Hotel Everest, Kathmandu on July 10, 2009. Approximately 40 distinguished experts from various fields took part in the program. The objectives of program are to share experiences on current realities in teaching-learning mechanisms followed by academic institutions, to assess universities contribution to industrial human resource supply and to reconcile the best academic and industrial interests in the changing contexts. Likewise, Mr. Shrestha also attended program based on "Academia-Industry Dialogue" organized by Kathmandu College of Management on July 19th, 2009.
Similarly, he attended program at GDLN center Nepal (poverty Reduction Strategy resource Center) on July 14th, 2009.The program was based on High-Level GDLN Dialogue on "South Asia Regional Collaboration on IT enabled Services". It is a multi country two hour video conference discussion connecting World Bank Headquarters, Washington DC with the GDLN VC Centers at Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Bhutan, India, Nepal, Pakistan and Sri Lanka.
