On the auspicious occasion of Hindu's greatest festival Dashain & Deepawali 2066 CAN organized half day program on 23th September, 2009 at Grand Hotel, Tahachal, Ktm. The Chief Guest at the program was Honorable State Minister Indra Kumar Dhungel (MOST) and chaired by President of CAN Er. Suresh Kumar Karna. Special guest during the Occasion was Honorable Vice Chairman of HLCIT Mr. Manohar K. Bhattarai. Other distinguished guests presented during the program were :

On the Inaugural Session Mr. Prabuddha Dahal, Vice President of CAN USA, Mr. Pratap Kumar Pathak, Secretary of MOI , Honorable Vice Chairman of HLCIT Mr. Manohar K. Bhattarai, Chief guest Honorable State Minister(MOST) Indra Kumar Dhungel gave their opening remarks. The concluding of opening session was given by Er. Suresh K. Karna, President of CAN.
After the Inaugural Session, First paper on Second session was presented by Mr. Juddha B. Gurung on "IT Policy & Programs of Government of Nepal". Second session of program was chaired by Mr. Puroshottam Ojha, Secretary of MOC and Co chaired by Mr. Rishi Shah, Academician of NAST. Mr. Suresh Kumar Regmi, MD of PCS was commentator in this session. Likewise, Second paper "Opportunities & Challenges of ICT in Nepal" was presented by Er. Binod Dhakal, GS of CAN. This session was chaired by Mr. Pratap K. Pathak, Secretary of MOI and co chaired by Dr. Subarna Shakya Executive Director of NITC. Honorable VC Mr. Manohar Kumar Bhattarai of HLCIT was commentator.
After the two presentations the floor was provided for open discussion and several major questions & enquiries were made regarding the presentations. Summary and remarks of both sessions were provided by the chairperson of the session.
